The Little Garden Club of Rye has joined the Environmental Advocacy Group of Rye. Our focus is to reduce the volume of junk mail that arrives daily in our mail box! Did you know the estimate of the amount of junk mail received per household in the U.S. is 41 pounds per year?

Below is a list of organizations that will aid you in eliminating unwanted mail

Consumers can opt out or even opt in to a particular company's mailing list through the Direct Marketing Association web site at www.dma-choice.org. Or you can write them at:

Along with other community partners, we enhance our community with plantings at the Rye Post Office, Metro North train station, Knapp House, The Rockridge Trough, Rye Nature Center and throughout the Business District.
